At Crisp, we have a mission: to make food with more flavor accessible to everyone. As Operational Lead, you and your team will ensure that our distribution center in Amsterdam fulfills that promise every day: thousands of groceries, on time and in top condition, delivered to our customers.
What you will do
You hold ultimate responsibility for the daily operational proceedings on the floor. The Operations Manager will direct you every day and will also guide you in your personal development and your long-term goals.
You provide daily operational leadership to our Team Leads and are responsible for the operation in and around the entire warehouse, not just one hall or department.
You ensure that your team is motivated every day and meets objectives regarding efficiency, quality, and safety.
You work closely with the Warehouse Managers to formulate policy and ensure innovation in the processes. You guarantee a good implementation of new initiatives.
Together with the Personnel Planner, you ensure correct planning based on financial objectives.
You are the hub of the warehouse. You initiate, among other things, meetings, conversations, and communication with other departments. And with your leadership experience, you coach fellow managers from all departments.
Together with the Warehouse Management, you hold ultimate responsibility for the warehouse. In the interest of that, you consider it logical to work at least two weekends a month and two mornings or evenings. Together with the Warehouse Management, you ensure the best possible attendance.
You have several years of experience as a Team Lead in operations and know better than anyone how to motivate and inspire people.
You are available for at least 32 hours.
You are analytically strong and know how to translate this into concrete, verifiable actions.
You are critical and dare to speak your mind.
You look ahead, are practical, and can maintain a good overview and delegate.
You work in a structured manner, manage a good schedule, are punctual, precise, and honor agreements.
You are empathetic, possess self-reflection, and take time for people. You do not avoid difficult conversations.
You actively seek improvement, know how to gather the right people for this, create support, and can get these initiatives off the ground.
You are a quick thinker who can solve any ad hoc problems well.
You have extensive knowledge of our systems, personnel handbooks, the CAO, and know the basics of labor law.
