What we're looking for

  • You possess an EASA Part-66 B1 license with type rating (B2 is a plus).

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, preferably in line maintenance.

  • You have a good command of both Dutch and English, in speech and writing.

  • You are flexible, stress-resistant, and work both independently and in a team.

  • You have a result- and quality-oriented attitude.

  • You are willing to work irregular shifts.

  • You possess a B/BE driver's license.

  •  For this position, you need a Certificate of Good Conduct (VGB), which will be requested before the start of your employment.

The role

At Corendon Dutch Airlines, we are proud of our own Maintenance team at Schiphol. Here, we work every day with passion and craftsmanship on our fleet. Safety is always our top priority, because only when our aircraft are fully airworthy thanks to our aircraft mechanics can our passengers travel worry-free to their destination.

Do you want to become part of this close-knit team and contribute to safe and reliable flights? Then we are looking for you!

What you'll do

As an aircraft mechanic within our Part-145 organization, you are responsible for performing line maintenance tasks on our Boeing 737-800 and 737-8/9 aircraft. You work according to the applicable regulations and ensure that the aircraft can safely enter the airspace.

Your tasks

  • Performing line maintenance activities according to EASA Part-145 regulations.

  • Ordering and managing aircraft parts.

  • Ensuring accurate administration in the maintenance system.

  • Coaching and guiding mechanics and trainees.

Location: You will primarily work from Schiphol, but occasionally you will travel to our outstations (for example, Curaçao, Thailand, European destinations)—a unique opportunity to also gain international experience as an aircraft mechanic.

Your working environment

You will join a dedicated and friendly team of approximately 16 colleagues. Together, you will work on the Schiphol platform, always with safety and quality as the highest priority. Thanks to a clear schedule with a limited number of night shifts, you will always know what to expect.

Your Schedule

At Corendon, you work in a fixed and clear schedule. This always consists of:

  • 2 day shifts (D): 07:00 - 16:30

  • 2 evening shifts (A): 15:00 - 00:30

  • 2 night shifts (N): 22:00 - 07:30

  • 4 days off, of which the first day is a sleep-in day.

This way, you always know well in advance when you are working and when you are off.

What we offer you

At Corendon, we take good care of our people. You can count on:

  • A gross monthly salary between € 3,623.15 and € 5,731.66 (full-time).

  • Irregularity allowance of 18% for a continuous rotation schedule.

  • Labor market allowance of 5%, increasing annually up to a maximum of 10%.

  • Certification allowance up to € 400 gross per month (depending on B1 and/or B2 licenses).

Example: Suppose you have a B1 license and start with a salary of € 4,500 gross per month. Including the various allowances, this quickly rises to approximately € 5,735 gross per month.

  • 35 vacation days (full-time) and the possibility to buy or sell days.

  • Full public transport reimbursement or travel allowance when traveling by car.

  • A pension scheme via BeFrank.

  • A free continuous travel insurance with worldwide coverage.

  • Use of our IPB scheme: advantageous flying with Corendon for you, your partner, children, and an introduction.

  • No type rating for the Boeing 737 MAX yet? No problem – we provide that training completely free of charge for you.

  • Attractive discounts on holidays, hotels, car rentals, and supplementary health insurance.

  • Fun sports activities and parties via our Corendon sports and social committee.

  • A varied job in an ambitious, international organization with short lines and an informal atmosphere.
