  • A salary of at least € 4024,- and at most € 6110,- gross per month based on 36 hours. Depending on your knowledge and experience.

  • 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month. In total, this is 16.5% on top of your salary. We call this the Individual Choice Budget (IKB). You decide yourself how, when, and in what way you want to use this budget.

  • Pension accrual at the ABP Pension Fund.

  • A laptop (Microsoft or Apple) and mobile phone (Android or iOS).

  • Two to three days of working from home, the rest you are present in our recently renovated building. You will make further agreements about this within your team.

The role

Do you want to use your legal knowledge to make a real impact? Are you sharp regarding laws and regulations, do you love variety, and do you stand firm in your shoes? Then we are looking for you!

Where you make the difference

As a Legal Policy Officer Enforcement, you ensure that companies fulfill their legal obligation to provide data. This data forms the basis for important statistics. In doing so, you see directly how figures develop and contribute to ensuring this information is reliable and complete.
In this role, you do not work solely from rules and enforcement. Explaining, thinking along, and helping companies meet their obligations are important parts of your work. You engage in dialogue with companies about the way they must provide data and search together for a solution when this does not go well. If a company has not provided the data, or has provided insufficient data despite this guidance, enforcement may follow.

As a Legal Policy Officer Enforcement, you are responsible for the legal handling of enforcement trajectories. You draft decisions and statements of defense, handle objection and appeal cases, and represent the organization during court hearings. You manage files carefully and ensure clear communication, both by telephone and in writing.

Additionally, you advise colleagues on legal issues and contribute ideas regarding policy, regulation, and the improvement of our enforcement processes. You maintain contact with companies and various colleagues and ensure clear communication, both orally and in writing.

No two days are the same: you switch between legal analyses, practical solutions, and collaboration with various colleagues and departments. In this way, you combine legal sharpness with social relevance, research, and personal contact.

This is you

You are a legal professional who gains energy from enforcement issues and likes to take responsibility. You stand firm in your shoes and can quickly get to the core of a matter. You work carefully, have strong communication skills, and know how to apply and explain legal rules clearly.

Furthermore, you bring:

  • academic working and thinking level, preferably supplemented with a completed Master's degree in Law and demonstrable relevant work experience;

  • knowledge of the General Administrative Law Act (Awb);

  • experience with objection and appeal procedures or public law is a plus;

  • a proactive, independent, and solution-oriented work attitude.

  • strong written and oral skills.
