Do you want to contribute to the creation of important labor market statistics? Then apply today!
You will work together with three colleagues to compile statistics on regional employment. Through a survey, we ask companies with various locations for the number of employed persons per location and/or municipality.
You process, assess, and correct, where necessary, the survey data provided by companies. You contact companies if the provided data gives cause to do so.
You analyze the data per industry and per municipality. After that, you compile tables containing information on regional employment. CBS publishes this information every year.
You contribute to improvements in the work process and the software of the statistics you work on.
We will train you to become a versatile analyst who can also contribute to other statistics of the Labor Market team.
The Labor Market team creates statistics about the labor market of employees and consists of over 25 motivated employees.
The team consists of three clusters:
One cluster processes the policy administration; the registry in which information about every job in the Netherlands is included.
One cluster creates statistics based on the policy administration.
One cluster creates statistics on collective labor agreement (CAO) wages, vacancies, sickness absence, union members, strikes, and regional employment. This is the cluster in which this vacancy arises.
In addition, we work together with other teams on projects for external clients, such as ministries and the UWV. These include studies such as the Monitor loonverschillen m/v and Vaardig met vaardigheden.
You have a demonstrable HBO (higher professional education) level of working and thinking.
You enjoy processing and analyzing data. It is a plus if you already work with IT tools for data analysis, such as SQL, R and/or Python.
You work accurately and result-oriented, are able to plan and organize your own work independently, and can switch well between tasks.
You communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, with respondents. In doing so, you carefully tune your tone and content to the situation.
You have an affinity with the substantive field of work of the team.
For our employment conditions, we follow the CAO Rijk (Central Collective Labor Agreement for Government Employees). This means that, among other things, you can count on the following:
A salary of at least € 3579,- and at most € 4999,- gross per month based on 36 hours. Depending on your knowledge and experience. If you do not yet possess all the necessary knowledge and experience at the start of your position, a choice can be made for temporary placement in a lower salary scale. You will make agreements about this with your manager at the start of your position.
8% holiday allowance and a 13th month. In total, this is 16.5% on top of your salary. We call this the Individual Choice Budget (IKB). You decide yourself how, when, and in what way you want to use this budget.
Pension accrual at the ABP Pension Fund.
A laptop (Microsoft or Apple) and mobile phone (Android or iOS).
Two to three days of working from home, the rest you are present in our recently renovated building. You will make further agreements about this within your team.
We will close the vacancy on Sunday, October 11.
Selection will take place in the week of Monday, October 12.
