Software Developer Graduation Internship

During your graduation internship, you will build your own application and develop your knowledge of software development with Java and/or .NET.

Under the guidance of your internship supervisors, you will learn the ins and outs of software development in the field of Java or .NET development. Additionally, you will enter an environment where people work on their projects with passion and you will learn what it is like to work at the largest IT and data consultancy organization in the Netherlands!

During your internship, you will have continuous contact with your internship supervisor to solve obstacles on the way to realization together, and you will take the initiative in organizing sessions with others to realize your application.

We have various assignments for this internship. After you have applied in the system, you will receive a list of internship assignments from which you can indicate a top 3. Here are 3 examples of graduation internship assignments:

• How can the energy consumption of a full-stack web application be reduced through code and architecture optimizations? Create an example app of this using best practices and documentation.
• To stay up to date with the latest news in your field, hobbies, or other points in the world. The assignment is to build a dynamic website using AI, where you receive the latest news every day, in the style of a news page. In order to stay up-to-date. Including challenges (puzzles), (comics), or videos.
• AI: resource allocation - AI agent resources, Human resources, Cloud resources, etc.

• You are a fourth-year student in a HBO (higher professional education) program in IT, Computer Science, or a similar program.
• You will start your graduation in February 2027.
• You have an affinity with software development in Java and/or .NET.
• You take initiative, actively coordinate with others, and work step-by-step towards a working application.
• You are open to learning and applying new technologies, including Generative AI.

• An internship allowance of € 500 gross per month.
• One and a half paid leave days per month.
• A laptop that you can use during your internship assignment.
• Access to training and courses via the Capgemini Academy, including a Scrum Master training.
• Guidance during your graduation assignment and space to learn a lot and take initiative yourself.
• A working environment in which colleagues share knowledge and help each other.
• The opportunity to learn how Generative AI and other new technologies can strengthen your software development.
• Drinks and activities with CCA colleagues and fellow interns

You will become part of an active group of software developers within the CCA team. You will work in an environment where colleagues work on their projects with passion, share knowledge, and help each other to broaden and deepen their technical skills. During your internship, you will have continuous contact with your internship supervisor and can involve other colleagues in the realization of your application.
