Requirements
What we're looking for
HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking, preferably in IT.
At least 4 years of relevant work experience as a Java Developer.
Good knowledge of Java and experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
Knowledge of CI/CD tooling, for example Jenkins or GitLab CI.
Experience with Git and Maven or Gradle.
Basic knowledge of Azure or AWS.
Experience with Agile/Scrum.
Excellent command of the Dutch language.
You are analytical, eager to learn, and find it interesting to broaden your technical knowledge.

The role
Do you want to work as a Java Developer on complex software projects at various organizations and further develop yourself towards DevOps? At ITIS Projects, you will be hired on a permanent basis and work on challenging assignments at professional organizations in the Randstad. You combine technical variety with the security of a permanent employer and get plenty of room to further develop yourself in the fields of cloud, automation, and CI/CD.
What you'll do
As a Java Developer, you will work from ITIS Projects on various software projects for our clients. You develop and maintain business-critical applications, build new functionalities, and contribute ideas regarding technical choices and software architecture.
You will work with modern Java technology and will get the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility outside of development. Do you want to grow towards DevOps? Then we will look together at which assignments, training, and techniques align with that ambition.
What will you do?
Developing and maintaining Java applications.
Working with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA.
Designing and building REST APIs and microservices.
Contributing to and improving CI/CD pipelines.
Improving performance, stability, and security.
Thinking along about software architecture and technical solutions.
Collaborating with developers, DevOps Engineers, and other IT specialists within Agile/Scrum teams.
Expanding your knowledge in the fields of cloud, containers, and automation.
