Assistant Store Manager - VERO MODA Nijmegen
32 - 38 hours
Are you ready for the next step in your retail career? As Assistant Store Manager at VERO MODA, you are co-responsible for the success of both the store and the team. You support the Store Manager in leading the team and actively work on the shop floor. With us, you will receive the freedom and responsibility to contribute to a store where customers feel welcome and colleagues can develop themselves. Together we OWN IT.
This is what your workday looks like
You coach colleagues on customer experience, distribute tasks, and help contribute to a positive working atmosphere. You monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, and support staff planning, store administration, stock control, and visual merchandising. Together with the Store Manager, you ensure a store where customers love to return and your team grows every day.
This is where you will shine
- Ambition towards a leadership role in retail.
- A coaching attitude: you know how to guide, motivate, and help your colleagues to get the best out of themselves.
- Commercial thinking and result-oriented working go hand in hand for you.
- Energy, positivity, and strong communication make you a valuable team player.
- You can sell like the best and you are good at it; you like to lead by example in this.
- Passion for fashion and a sense for the VERO MODA style
- You are flexibly available, also during the busy periods on weekends and other peak moments.
Don't tick all the boxes yet? No problem! We are primarily looking for the right mindset and drive!
What makes this your new workplace?
- An honest and market-conform salary, matching your experience and responsibilities, including an 8% holiday allowance.
- Holiday days, travel expenses (fully reimbursed via public transport), pension accrual, and collective health insurance: you won't have to worry about those.
- Shop your favorite looks with a 20% staff discount on all our brands, plus an extra 30% offset against your gross salary.
- We find your development important: you get access to FUSE, our online platform for training and inspiration, and we offer you training, workshops, coaching on the job, and an extensive onboarding program focused on leadership.
- Ample growth opportunities within your store, or at one of the other brands of BESTSELLER, for example towards Store Manager.
- We also care about your mental health through a great partnership with OpenUp.
- Special sample sale events to upgrade your wardrobe at great prices and drinks to celebrate successes together.
- Fun team activities, drinks, and the annual BESTSELLER Party where you see your colleagues from all over the country.
- A nice getaway with 30% discount at Center Parcs.
- A workplace where your ideas and energy truly matter.
- An inclusive working environment in which you can be yourself. We believe in equal opportunities, regardless of who you are or where you come from.
- And if we are a match, you can start quickly!
