Program Manager

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree;
• 8–10 years of experience with complex (digital) transformations, preferably organization-wide;
• Demonstrable 3–5 years of experience as a Program Manager;
• You can handle complexity in a multi-stakeholder and multi-vendor environment;
• You have demonstrable experience with change and adoption, including process, people, and the design of governance and management;
• You combine consultancy skills with delivery: analytically strong, substantively sharp, and you dare to advise;
• PRINCE2 and IPMA certification;
• You have experience within at least one of our sectors: Public, Industry, or Financial Services, and you are preferably deployable more broadly;
• You speak and write excellent Dutch.

• PROSCI or demonstrable change management experience;
• Experience with data migrations, IT landscape migrations, cloud, or platform transitions;
• Experience with data-driven working and/or guiding AI adoption in organizations;
• Experience with chain management, integrations, and dependencies between systems and teams.

At Sopra Steria Next, we guide clients within the Public, Industry, and Financial Services sectors through complex change journeys where technology, data, and people converge. Think of IT landscape migrations, data migrations, data-driven working/AI adoption, and organization-wide transformation agendas with many dependencies.

As Program Manager, you take charge of the delivery of complex transformation programs: you bring structure, direction, and calm to complexity. You drive for results, engage stakeholders, and dare to advise.

This role revolves around content, delivery, and the power to change. You work at the intersection of strategy and execution and switch smoothly between management, business, IT, and vendors. You oversee the ecosystem of (digital) systems, processes, and teams, and ensure everything comes together in one realistic roadmap.

As a program manager, you focus not only on individual projects, but on coherence, benefits, governance, and adoption across teams and business units.

You work on large-scale, complex programs with a clear digital component. Often organization-wide, with multiple workstreams, vendors, and interests. You help clients realize their transformation agenda and ensure it lands within the organization.

Your main tasks:

• You hold ultimate responsibility for the delivery of programs: scope, planning, budget, quality, risks, and decision-making;
• You set up governance (steering committees, progress, escalations) and monitor the coherence between projects and workstreams;
• You drive change & adoption: you ensure that changes are understood, supported, and applied;
• You move easily within a digital ecosystem (applications, integrations, data, chains) and maintain an overview of dependencies;
• You are a trusted advisor: you dare to challenge the client substantively and analytically, and you advise based on facts, impact, and feasibility;
• You work organization-wide and connect people across business units: IT, operations, data, security, compliance, and vendors;
• You contribute to the growth of Next: by sharing knowledge, coaching colleagues, and helping build propositions and approaches;

• A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between € 6000,- and € 7500,- based on full-time employment (40 hours per week);
• At Sopra Steria, we believe equal pay for equal work is important. Therefore, we determine your salary based on objective criteria such as experience, knowledge, competencies, and responsibilities. • Holiday allowance of 8%;
• A profit-sharing scheme with a target payment of 8% of the gross (part-time) annual salary, depending on company results;
