As an Assistant Accountant, you will be part of the Subsidy Compliance Team. In this role, you are responsible for:
Working in various assignment teams on (subsidy) audits, regularly collaborating with other service lines within Baker Tilly.
Being involved from start to finish in projects with short turnaround times, which ensures variety and responsibility.
Not only auditing figures, but also delving into underlying processes and regulations from subsidy providers.
Receiving personal guidance from experienced colleagues and plenty of room to develop, both professionally (e.g., AA/RA) and personally.
Assessing whether projects have been executed in accordance with subsidy conditions and preparing an accountant's report on this.

You have completed a HBO or WO degree in accountancy or business economics.
Preferably, you have several years of relevant work experience in auditing or similar financial services.

Working in multidisciplinary audit teams on diverse assignments for a varied client portfolio: from research institutions and hospitals to multinationals, start-ups, and governments.
Gaining broad experience in your first year with COS standards, national and European subsidy schemes, and other accountability frameworks for special purposes.
