Make the Netherlands more beautiful - with impact on people, environment, and landscape
Within the Rural Area business unit, we work towards a future-proof countryside. We bring interests together, develop nature areas, improve water systems, and help farmers and governments keep the living environment in balance. Our projects contribute directly to climate goals, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture.
With the Area Plans and Nature & Design teams, we work on area-oriented tasks that make the Netherlands more beautiful - from large-scale area programs to local restoration projects in nature, water, and landscape.
Within Area Plans, you take the lead in area processes and advise during the exploratory and planning phases of area tasks (climate, landscape, nature, agricultural transition) in the rural area. You do this with courage and take responsibility in doing so. You have your feet in the clay, in close connection with the area and involved stakeholders. In this way, despite a complex playing field, you offer supported and achievable solutions for challenging area tasks.
In the Nature & Design team, you work on integrated water, landscape, and nature projects and ensure that global plans and visions are worked out into concrete plans and even that projects are actually realized.
Within the team, you can also work on specialized ecological and nature-inclusive issues in both rural and urban environments.
You work together with colleagues, provinces, water boards, municipalities, farmers, and nature organizations on sustainable solutions with broad support.
Social - You enjoy working together with colleagues, residents, and stakeholders.
Pragmatic - You think in terms of achievable solutions that deliver visible results in the field.
Enterprising - You dare to think ahead, take initiative, and look for new ways to improve the living environment.
Do you want to contribute to a vital and future-proof rural area? Come and meet us!
