Working in a high-tech production environment within the food industry
For more than 100 years, Royal Avebe has been the leading cooperative of potato growers developing innovative solutions based on potato starch and proteins. At our location in Gasselternijveen, you will find the complete production process: from potatoes in the sand to high-quality starch and protein applications for food, industry, and animal nutrition.
As a Multi Employable Operator, you will work at our largest food ingredients factory. You will move between different departments and processes. Every day starts with a short walk past factories and offices—a down-to-earth, Groningen start to your workday.
You will work in a dynamic environment where technology, quality, and collaboration are central.
Your impactAs a Multi Employable Operator, you make a direct contribution to the production process and the quality of our end products. You ensure that processes run smoothly, deviations are identified in a timely manner, and that the factory operates safely and efficiently.
Your responsibilities include:
Monitoring, adjusting, and controlling production processes according to procedures, planning, and analytical data.
Coordinating product transitions and performing quality analyses.
Operating and monitoring processes via the DCS system from the central control room.
Registering production data in automated systems.
Ensuring a clean and safe working environment according to HACCP standards.
During the potato campaign, you will work in a five-shift rotation. During the inter-campaign period, you will perform maintenance work during day shifts. This keeps your work varied and allows you to get to know different parts of the factory.
