What we're looking for

You are currently pursuing a degree at HBO/WO level, for example in the field of Communication, Commercial Economics, or related studies. Other fields of study are not excluded, but must be accompanied by clear motivation.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Affinity with retail.
Creative writing is a plus.
You are available for at least 5 months, 32 hours per week. If you have an assignment or research for your studies, this can be done from within Etos.

Someone with a 'hands-on' mentality.
Decisive and goal-oriented.
Independent and able to set priorities.
You work data-driven with a marketing focus.

The role

As an Intern in the Online Messaging team, you will get to know the most exciting marketing projects at Etos. Through our email and push messaging campaigns, we reach our customers weekly with great offers and inspire them through new products. Together with the team, you will work on achieving the best results. This makes it the ideal place to get to know Etos and to develop yourself!

Your new job and workplace.

As an Intern, you will contribute directly to our online messaging strategy. You will do this together with your colleagues from the team. Your tasks will include:

During this internship, you will get to know an innovative branch within E-commerce: Online Messaging. You will not only learn how to deliver the right message to the right customer via data-driven marketing, but you will primarily get hands-on with creating inspiring email campaigns and digital messages. You will know how to find the right colleagues to achieve the best alignment together. There is plenty of room to come up with, develop, and test your own ideas. From email campaigns to app push notifications. Additionally, you will perform A/B tests to discover what our customers most want to see and read, after which you will directly implement these insights into our digital communication.

What you'll do

Supporting the setup of weekly and thematic email campaigns and other online messages. In this role, you will have a lot of contact with various colleagues.
Thinking along, developing, and creating various digital campaigns through which we reach our customers.
Thinking along about data-driven messaging and optimizing our customer communication.
Designing and executing A/B tests to continuously innovate and improve.

How you'll work

In this position, you work 32-40 hours per week, partly from our head office in Zaandam and partly from home.
