Commercial Assistant

As a Commercial Assistant, together with your colleagues, you are the driving force behind the daily operations of the commercial team. You contribute to the success of our commercial team through your administrative skills, analytical insight, and customer-oriented approach. You support the Private Bankers of the Hasselt region and occasionally Antwerp.

• You guide new Private Banking clients through the onboarding process, with specific attention to compliance regulations (Know Your Customer & Anti-Money Laundering guidelines).
• You support the entire process regarding the annual acceptance process by collecting all data from clients (primarily via telephone and e-mail) and the full preparation of the client file.
• You ensure smooth and discrete handling of client inquiries during the onboarding process.
• You support the Private Banker in the preparation and follow-up of client appointments.
• You handle requests such as: processing an account closure, change of address, credit card handling, and other administrative acquisition of changes in the client's setup or structure.
• You coordinate and follow up on: payments & Forex transactions, loan maturity dates,... and you ensure good communication with all stakeholders within the bank.
• You support reporting and document management (onboarding, ad hoc reporting).
• You support the Private Banker where necessary in House in Order matters.
• You respond to ad hoc questions from Private Banking clients and internal stakeholders.
• You work actively with the private bankers and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• You monitor the general mailbox.
