As an HR Officer at ABF, you will have a broad and varied role within our HR team. You will be involved in various processes throughout the entire employee journey: from a great start at ABF and daily HR support to development and offboarding.
You will work closely with the HR Advisor, Corporate Recruiter, and HR Manager and will experience many different aspects of the HR profession. This makes the position interesting if you enjoy practical work, want to take responsibility, and want to further develop yourself within HR.
Good HR support sometimes seems obvious, but it makes a difference every day. You help employees and managers with their questions and simultaneously ensure that administration, changes, and deadlines are well-managed behind the scenes.
In addition, we do not only look at what needs to happen today. Do you see a way to make a process smarter, easier, or more efficient? Then you will be given the space to contribute ideas and take on improvements.
You ensure that our HR administration is well-managed from inflow to outflow: from contracts and changes to personnel files and offboarding;
You process the monthly salary changes, check the salary output, and ensure that discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner;
You are a first point of contact for employees and managers regarding daily HR questions and ensure good and timely follow-up;
You maintain an up-to-date and reliable HR administration in AFAS and support colleagues in using the system;
You support absenteeism, training, and other HR processes and ensure that the associated administration, actions, and deadlines are properly followed up;
You collect and report HR data and KPIs;
You contribute to HR projects and actively think along about how we can further improve our HR processes;
Where necessary, you support the recruitment team during sickness, holidays, or temporary peak periods.
You have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in HRM or a similar field;
You already have some experience within HR OR you are at the beginning of your HR career and want to further develop yourself in this field;
You are available for 28 to 32 hours per week;
You work accurately and in a structured manner, maintain an overview, and consider it important that administration and processes are well-managed;
You are a strong communicator and get energy from contact with employees and managers;
You are proactive and independent: you see what needs to be done and take action;
You speak and write well in Dutch and English; within our international organization, you will use both languages regularly;
