Experience in leadership and an RA background are considered strong assets.

Taking the lead and further professionalizing the financial organization of aaff. Being responsible for a reliable, timely, and future-proof financial chain. And at the same time remaining actively involved in complex financial dossiers. The combination of leadership and substantive depth makes this position as manager finance & control very interesting.
Extra special: at aaff, colleagues are more than employees. We are all co-owners. Through our participation scheme, every colleague can invest and thus share in our collective results. Sounds good, right?
You will lead five colleagues within financial control, financial administration, and accounts payable. You will manage integrally on quality, planning, collaboration, development, and mutual interchangeability. In doing so, you will ensure clear responsibilities and a team that functions increasingly independently.
Within Finance & Control, you are the owner of the entire financial process. You organize a reliable and repeatable process with clear deadlines, complete dossiers, and timely follow-up of findings. In this way, you and your team will always ensure a predictable closing, timely annual accounts, and a controlled audit process. You strengthen internal control: you make concrete which controls are needed, who is responsible for what, and how structural errors are analyzed and resolved.
This is not a management position at a distance from the substance. In the case of complex dossiers, consolidation, and external reporting, you step in yourself. You analyze accounting issues, form a financial position, work together with experienced specialists, and ensure that knowledge does not remain with just one person.
Currently, aaff is implementing AFAS. This represents an additional, visible challenge for you. You will contribute substantively to a controlled implementation. Subsequently, you will ensure that the financial setup, reporting, controls, work processes, and data quality increasingly align with what aaff needs.
Leading financial control, financial administration, and accounts payable.

Further professionalizing monthly and quarterly closings, budgets, and forecasts.
Mentality: you combine substantive depth with firm and people-oriented leadership. You bring structure, create ownership, and know how to further develop employees, while maintaining focus on quality, collaboration, and results.
We are curious about your story and would love to hear how you will come to strengthen us as manager finance & control and co-owner. Do you have any questions? Contact Roos Lambregts, national recruiter, via roos.lambregts@aaff.nl or 06 81 73 93 04. Or apply directly.
