Accountancy Advisor in the Netherlands

We are looking for an Accountancy Advisor to guide and advise our clients in Venlo and the surrounding area in their business operations. Will you become one of our 2,000 co-owners?

As an Accountancy Advisor, you are the fixed point of contact for your clients and support them in their business operations. You prepare annual accounts and discuss them, guide clients through financial issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. Together with your colleagues, you work on meaningful relationships and a sustainable future. You will also participate yourself in compilation practice. Many of our clients are active in the SME sector and in horticulture. If you enjoy specializing in a specific sector, that possibility is available.

• Managing and expanding your own client portfolio.

• Preparing and discussing annual accounts and interim figures.

• Identifying opportunities and points for improvement in the business operations of clients.

• Collaborating with colleagues such as tax advisors, legal experts, and other specialists to provide optimal support to clients.

• Contributing to process improvements within your team and the organization.

• Salary: up to € 6,992 on a full-time basis, depending on your experience, education, and skills.

• Freedom of choice in leave: you determine how many days off you take, up to 38 per year. Choose from regular leave, the aaff budget, or extra days via your salary. Anything you do not use from the aaff budget, we will pay out.

• Home office budget of € 550: to set up your home workplace comfortably and ergonomically.

• Allowance for working from home: € 2.45 per home working day + € 40 net internet allowance per month.

• Sustainable travel: € 0.30 per car km for commuting, € 0.40 (€ 0.23 net) per bicycle/walking kilometer. On top of that, full public transport reimbursement or—if more than 7,500 business km/year—an electric lease car or mobility budget. When driving electric, you receive € 0.40 per kilometer.

• Knowledge and experience: you have experience in accountancy, including relationship management/acquisition and advisory.

• Mentality: proactive, customer-oriented, and driven to support entrepreneurs in their business operations.
