Our clients want to move forward with digital technology. Sometimes a plan exists, the ERP system has been running on patchwork for years, and the new project just won't get off the ground properly. That's where you come in. As a consultant at the consultancy branch of Nerds & Company, you investigate what is truly going on and how you can help clients move forward. And you stay until the change is established. You work from Enschede and for the most part at client locations. So, super varied work, and you can develop yourself incredibly fast in many areas. The team is small but growing and consists of about five consultants, with the designers and developers of Nerds & Company around you.

Often you start with a Digital Reality Check. With a few interviews, a workshop, and a look into the systems, you map out where the friction lies. You translate that into a handful of clear recommendations. If the client acts on them, you guide the process through the three steps of our own methodology: Digital Direction, Digital Route, and Digital Realization.

You sit at the table with management and you walk the shop floor. You maintain control over the project and think along about software and suppliers. Those who will eventually have to work with the system, you involve from day one. You adjust where necessary and show how far the process has progressed. If you leave after a period, the client's team must be able to continue with your solution themselves.

• Experience with ERP, CRM, CMS, or DAM systems

• Knowledge of data and connections between systems

• An education or background in IT or business administration

• Good command of the English language

• Experience in an IT project environment, for example as a consultant, Product Owner, Scrum Master, or IT project leader

• You understand what a technical choice means for an organization. You don't need to be a developer.

• You maintain an overview when things get complicated and dare to make decisions

• You are curious about technology and find out for yourself what you don't know yet

• You make contact easily, with someone on the shop floor and with a director

• You take initiative on what needs to be done, even if the solution is not yet ready

• Good command of the Dutch language

• Driving license B, because you are regularly at clients
