The role

Make an impact on international growth and strategic transformations

As an M&A Analyst at Verder International, you play a key role in one of our most important growth pillars: strategic acquisitions. You look beyond the numbers and understand the story behind technology, market position, and organization. From target identification to due diligence, contract negotiation, closing, and integration: you are involved end-to-end in transactions that create sustainable value.

You work in a virtually entirely international context, collaborating closely with the M&A Director, Finance Director, CEOs, divisions, and external advisors. From the intersection of M&A and Finance, you connect financial analysis with legal, tax, operational, and strategic insights.

What you'll do

Identifying, analyzing, and assessing acquisition, investment, and divestment opportunities.
Preparing financial models, valuations, business cases, and management presentations.
Coordinating financial, commercial, operational, legal, and tax due diligence.
Supporting transaction structuring, contract negotiations, closing, and deal execution.
Coordinating the full transaction process and the collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
Supporting integration activities, including legal and tax structuring.
Assessing potential implications for group structure, financing, taxation, and operations.
Contributing to post-transaction reviews, restructurings, and the realization of synergies.

What do you bring?

At least a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
At least five years of experience in M&A, Transaction Services, Audit, Corporate Finance, or Consulting at a reputable organization.
Experience with the full M&A process and with integration activities, including legal and tax structuring.
Experience within an international and complex organization.
Good basic legal knowledge and strong financial and commercial insight.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills at C-level.
Excellent command of Dutch and English.
Excellent knowledge of Excel, AI applications, and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
