As an experienced Payroll Administrator, do you want to do more than just run the same payroll cycle every month? At the VDK Groep in Zwolle, together with your colleagues, you will manage the payroll administration for multiple companies and contribute ideas on how we can organize payroll more smartly and better.

VDK is growing rapidly and more and more companies are working with AFAS HRM & Payroll. This makes your work varied: alongside daily payroll administration, you will work on new connections, improve processes, and help further expand our central payroll organization. In doing so, you will receive a great deal of autonomy and the opportunity to work partially from home.

As a Payroll Administrator, you will receive responsibility for the payroll processing of multiple VDK companies. You will ensure that everything is correct and processed on time, but you will also look further. Do you see a discrepancy, a cumbersome process, or something that could be done smarter? Then we specifically expect you to take action on it.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Managing and checking the complete payroll administration for multiple VDK companies.

• Processing and checking salary, personnel, and contract changes.

• Checking payslips, journal entries, and payroll output.

• Identifying and resolving discrepancies before they become problems.

• Answering salary questions and advising HR colleagues and managers.

• Maintaining contact with, among others, the Tax Authorities (Belastingdienst), PMT, and UWV.

• Collaborating on the implementation and further configuration of AFAS HRM & Payroll.

• Improving and digitizing payroll processes and workflows.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from Payroll, HR, and Finance. Due to the scale and growth of VDK, you will deal with various companies and issues. This makes this position interesting for a payroll professional who is technically proficient and enjoys thinking along about how things can be improved.

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator who knows their craft. You work accurately, but you are not someone who only executes what is laid out for you. You identify issues, think ahead, and enjoy working with colleagues to further improve processes.

• HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level.

• A completed PDL diploma.

• At least five years of relevant experience as a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Specialist, or in a similar position.

• Knowledge of payroll administration and the Metal & Technology collective labor agreement (CAO Metaal & Techniek).

• Experience with AFAS HRM & Payroll is a plus.

• Driver's license B.
