Work on challenging electrotechnical installations within industry, the agricultural sector, and government
You are probably doing fine right now. But perhaps you are ready for work that is just a little bit better organized. Fewer standard installations, more technical challenges, and an employer where colleagues truly help one another.
At SOMMEN-GOSENS, you work on complex industrial electrotechnical installations in the high-end segment. Think of control cabinets, industrial distribution equipment, grid congestion solutions, energy-efficient installations, and smart building management systems. Thanks to our own engineering, specialist knowledge, and high-quality certifications, we realize technical total solutions that many installers won't even touch.
That makes your work varied, challenging, and technically interesting.
You will join a close-knit team of approximately 30 permanent colleagues, and the team of technicians has an average age of 30. The atmosphere is informal, lines of communication are short, and everyone is ready to help each other. You work in a professional environment without unnecessary hierarchy or hassle.
We also seek each other out outside of work. We have an active WhatsApp group, regularly organize outings, and like to end the week together with a drink. In this way, we build not only beautiful projects but also a pleasant working atmosphere.
You start between 07:00 and 08:00 from our location in Ulicoten. Every technician has their own, fully equipped work van. You can easily load any extra materials in the morning, and you will receive your digital work orders via your tablet.
You primarily work in small teams of two or three colleagues on projects within industry, the agricultural sector, and government. The duration of projects varies from half a day to several months, meaning no work week is the same.
Installing and maintaining industrial electrotechnical installations.
Connecting and building control cabinets and distribution equipment.
Installing energy systems, such as battery storage and energy management systems.
Analyzing and quickly resolving malfunctions.
Guiding BBL apprentices and, where necessary, managing assistant technicians.
Thinking along about smarter working methods, tools, and improvements within the trade.
You work mainly in Noord-Brabant, between Breda, Den Bosch, and Eindhoven. Almost all projects are within one hour of travel time. Usually, you are back at the office between 16:00 and 17:00.
Approximately once every eight weeks, you will work an on-call service for malfunctions. The first telephone report always comes to our colleague first, meaning many malfunctions are already resolved remotely. Only when it is truly necessary do you go to the customer. For the on-call service, you receive 20% of your gross weekly salary, supplemented by the hours worked and the applicable allowances.
With us, you work on electrotechnics at a level you don't encounter everywhere. Through our combination of our own engineering, Scope 8, 10, 12, and 14 certifications, and years of technical expertise, we realize innovative installations in which quality and craftsmanship are central.
You get a lot of freedom, work with modern equipment, and get the space to further develop yourself. For example, do you want to follow a SCIOS training or further specialize within industrial electrotechnics? Then we are happy to invest in that together with you.
A gross monthly salary of €2,829 to €5,138, depending on your knowledge and experience.
A permanent contract upon good performance.
A fully equipped personal work van.
Professional tools, work clothing, mobile phone, tablet, and a laptop.
Good pension scheme according to the Metaal & Techniek collective labor agreement.
Time-for-time for overtime and an extra overtime allowance.
A malfunction allowance of 20% of your gross weekly salary, plus payment of hours worked and allowances.
Working on sustainable and technically challenging projects within industry, government, and the agricultural sector.
Training and growth opportunities that align with your ambitions, including SCIOS training.
A lot of freedom, responsibility, and input in your work.
A friendly, young team in which hard work and having fun go hand in hand.
This is for you if you...
You have completed an mbo 4 education in Electrotechnics.
You have at least three years of experience as an electrical technician.
You enjoy working on technically challenging industrial installations.
You work independently, but also enjoy collaborating in a small and permanent team.
You take responsibility and find quality important.
Possess a driver's license (category B).
