Electrical Fitter in Amsterdam

As an Electrical Fitter at Flagship Shipyard, you will work at our shipyard in Amsterdam on the technology behind Amsterdam's largest electric fleet. You will be involved in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems aboard our electric vessels.

You will work on diverse technical projects: from replacing batteries and troubleshooting faults to installing new electrical systems. No two days are the same. You will work with various installations, from small electrical components to higher voltage systems. Due to our expertise in electric vessels, you will get the chance to work on special projects and further develop your technical knowledge within maritime electrical engineering.

• Installing, connecting, and mounting electrical systems and components, such as electric motors, batteries, inverters, and charging installations;

• Performing maintenance and repairs on electrical installations;

• Replacing, connecting, and testing batteries and electrical parts;

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and electrical diagrams;

• Troubleshooting and resolving malfunctions;

• Performing inspections, measurements, and tests to guarantee safety and operation;

• Working on systems ranging from low voltage to higher voltages;

• Ensuring correct technical finishing and administration of work.
