What we're looking for

A completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering
Experience as a first-class fitter, lead fitter, foreman, or a similar position
Technical knowledge of electrical installations within the utility sector
The ability to lead and motivate colleagues
A great sense of responsibility and an eye for quality
Good communication skills in the Dutch language
Valid driver's license B

The role

As a First-Class Fitter at Van den Hoogen engineering, you are the connecting link between the project leader, fitters, and the client!

You will work on diverse utility projects and ensure that the work is carried out safely, according to schedule, and with the correct quality. You will lead your team, monitor progress, and contribute ideas for technical solutions. Together, you will ensure a successful end result that you can be proud of.

What you'll do

As a first-class fitter, you are the point of contact, the motivator, and the person the office can coordinate with.

Leading and supervising technicians at the project location
Coordinating and monitoring daily activities
Participating in execution and construction meetings
Coordinating with the project manager, client, and other involved parties
Monitoring the schedule, quality, and safety on the project
Handling material orders and organizing the execution
Identifying and discussing technical issues and solutions
