The role

Within the Sint-Michielsgestel branch of Veolia, two worlds come together. From this location, we serve both the energy networks of surrounding cities and the management and maintenance of various contracts with, among others, municipalities, school communities, and office buildings. Our technicians have a close bond with clients and work in a tight-knit team in which collaborating, being there for one another, and utilizing each other's expertise are central. Driven by a shared goal, we support customers in their ambitions regarding utility management and sustainability.

What you'll do

As a First-Class Mechanical Installations Technician, you will work independently at client sites in the Brabant region on various mechanical installations in the utility sector (offices, shops, and hotels). You will largely organize your own activities, provide instructions to colleagues where necessary, and can rely on a team of colleagues for consultation and support when needed.

Your tasks as a First-Class Mechanical Installations Technician at Veolia Gebouwenbeheer:

  • Performing repairs, replacements, and installation work on climate control systems and other mechanical installations; 
  • Coordinating activities based on the situation and the wishes of the customer;
  • Performing all-round activities, including:
    - Various piping work (copper, thin-walled, and plastic press systems)
    - Small-scale ductwork
    - Installing boilers and placing pumps
  • Reporting findings and points of attention to the project leader, estimator/work planner, or supervisor;
  •  Acting as a point of contact for colleagues regarding technical questions.
