HVAC Estimator

Are you at home in climate technology and do you enjoy figuring out what an installation needs technically and financially? As an HVAC Estimator at Frimex, you will work on climate installations for well-known clients such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and Holland Casino. You will calculate what a project is going to cost, think along about smart solutions, and ensure that our projects can start well-prepared.

You will receive a great deal of independence, work closely with engineering and project management, and ultimately see your calculations reflected in practice.

As an HVAC Estimator, you translate technical designs and customer wishes into reliable cost calculations and quotes. You look beyond the numbers: which installation fits best, where are the risks, and can it be done smarter technically or financially?

You will be involved in:

• Preparing calculations and quotes for HVAC and climate installations.

• Assessing drawings, specifications, and technical details.

• Calculating materials, hours, and other project costs.

• Selecting components for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

• Thinking along about energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions.

• Coordinating with engineering, project management, and execution.

• Monitoring the technical feasibility and commercial principles of quotes.

You will work on various projects within retail and hospitality. As a result, you will have plenty of variety and can apply your technical knowledge broadly.

• MBO or HBO work and thinking level in the direction of Installation Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.

• Knowledge of HVAC installations, climate technology, or mechanical installations.

• Technical and numerical insight.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and preferably estimation or ERP software.

• Good command of the Dutch language.

• You work accurately, communicate easily, and enjoy thinking along about practical solutions.

Are you currently working as an HVAC Project Preparer, Mechanical Engineer, or in a similar technical role? Even if you have not worked as an estimator before, we would love to get in touch with you. With a good technical foundation, you can further learn the estimation process.
