What we're looking for

  • An MBO level 3 education in installation technology, electrical engineering, or refrigeration technology

  • Demonstrable experience as a maintenance technician in the utility sector

  • Knowledge of measurement and control technology

  • Experience with working independently and directing colleagues

  • Driving license B and willingness to perform on-call services (2 to 3x per quarter)

As a First-Class Utility Maintenance Technician, you will work in the Amsterdam region for regular clients where you make the difference in both technology and team development.

You work independently on maintenance and troubleshooting, perform inspections, and ensure that installations continue to function reliably. You are the primary point of contact for your clients and work closely with project leaders. In this role, you combine independent work with guiding and motivating colleagues on-site.

What you'll do

As a Senior Utility Maintenance Technician, you ensure that installations continue to function reliably.

  • Performing maintenance, inspections, and checks

  • Cleaning, measuring, testing, and analyzing installations

  • Diagnosing and resolving faults

  • Repairing and optimizing systems

  • Checking performed work

  • Directing assistant and second-class technicians

  • Coordinating with project leaders regarding planning and faults
