The role

Supervisor

Do you have experience managing an operational team within a logistics or production environment? Do you get energy from creating an optimal flow of goods and materials and do you have an affinity for Assembly and Parts? Are you also strong in organizing processes, coaching employees, and continuous improvement? Then this Supervisor position is for you!

What you'll do

As a Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily management of a team of approximately 15 to 25 employees within our logistics and production environment. Together with your team, you ensure that materials and parts are available at the right time, in the right place, and in the right quality for Assembly and Parts.

You maintain an overview of the daily operation, manage based on planning, capacity, and progress, and identify potential bottlenecks in the material and goods flow in a timely manner. In doing so, you look beyond just your own department: you work closely with, among others, Assembly, Parts Production, Supply Chain, and Production Planning to ensure the total flow runs as efficiently as possible.

In addition to the operational result, the development of your employees is also central. You are visible on the shop floor, coach your team, and stimulate employees to take responsibility and actively contribute ideas for improvements.

Responsibilities

  • You provide daily leadership to an operational team and create a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • You organize and coordinate daily activities and ensure optimal deployment of employees, capacity, and resources.
  • You monitor the material and goods flow towards Assembly and Parts and ensure that the operation aligns with the production planning.
  • You identify bottlenecks in the logistics flow and take proactive measures to prevent or resolve disruptions.
  • You manage based on safety, quality, productivity, and delivery reliability.
  • You coach and develop employees and support them in increasing their craftsmanship and independence.
  • You initiate and implement improvements in the areas of logistics processes, material flow, and operational performance.
  • In doing so, you work according to Lean principles and the Toyota Production System (TPS).
  • You work closely with, among others, Supply Chain, Assembly, Parts Production, and Production Planning to realize a smooth end-to-end flow.

Our offer

In the challenging and responsible position of Supervisor Parts Production, you get the chance to make an important contribution to leading projects and are connected to our dedicated people and customers. We offer a position in an informal, international, and professional working environment with plenty of room for personal development. By coming to work at our profitable and growing company, you can achieve your goals and focus on your future.

On top of your salary, you receive the following secondary employment benefits:

  • 40 vacation days (20 statutory days and a flexible budget with which you can purchase an additional 20 days)
