Truck Factory Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you lead approximately 100 employees, divided across two shifts. Together with your team, you are responsible for a part of the production process. You ensure that the production planning is realized and continuously manage the most important performance indicators regarding safety, quality, delivery reliability, flexibility, and costs. Additionally, you are operationally responsible for one or more production line sections in the absence of your fellow supervisors.

• You act as the "plant manager" of the teams that fall under your responsibility. In doing so, you work together with the supporting departments on preparing, setting up, maintaining, and continuously improving the production process, the logistical process, and the working conditions.
• You ensure optimal staffing within the production department, where quality, capacity, and flexibility are in balance. Additionally, you guarantee that employees possess the right knowledge and skills to work safely, efficiently, and according to the established quality standards.
• With a coaching leadership style, you create a positive and result-oriented working environment. Through effective communication and team meetings, you stimulate engagement, collaboration, and the further development of a strong improvement culture.
• As chairman of the Continuous Improvement Team (CVT), you realize improvement initiatives in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and costs together with multidisciplinary teams. Continuous improvement is in your DNA and you know how to bring others along with you.
