As a Junior Tax Advisor at Van Oers at our location in Breda, Roosendaal, Rotterdam or The Hague, you take your lead. You do this together; you work in a team. You look beyond the numbers and respond to what is truly happening with your clients. In this way, you make a direct impact on their business, the local economy, and society. You stay ahead by translating fiscal developments into practical solutions. Just do it, with confidence and craftsmanship. At the same time, you get all the space to grow: in knowledge, responsibility, and personal development.
As a Junior Tax Advisor, you support experienced tax advisors in providing tax advice to clients. You will prepare and process tax returns. You will research tax legislation. And of course, you may advise clients on fiscal issues. Additionally, you will have frequent contact with clients and ensure good file management.
In your role as a Junior Tax Advisor, the emphasis is therefore on advisory activities, but you do not shy away from performing return work every now and then.
A glimpse of your tasks:
You handle income tax / corporate income tax returns;
You support ongoing procedures and handle notices of objection;
You assess annual accounts for fiscal aspects;
You will go to the client together with, for example, a board member or, when you are ready, you may also go alone.
You possess decisiveness and the ability to collaborate. You are accurate, involved, and proactive. Additionally, you are communicatively skilled and you find it no problem to give people feedback. Finally, you keep a cool head during busy periods.
Furthermore, we ask:
A completed university degree (WO) in Fiscal Economics or Tax Law;
A love for and knowledge of the fiscal profession;
Ambition: you want to develop yourself on a professional and personal level.
With us, you may—or rather, you must—'just do it'. Saying what you do and doing what you say, that is how we work at Van Oers. We communicate clearly and honestly; we don't blow our own trumpet. Together with colleagues, partners, and clients, we roll up our sleeves.
Furthermore, we offer:
At Van Oers, you work in a people-oriented organization where colleagues have an eye for one another and where you are given the space to be yourself. Do you want to know what is happening, think ahead, and make a difference together? Then come work at Van Oers and become a Junior Tax Advisor.
