Theaterhotel de Oranjerie (4****) and Het Arresthuis (5*****) are both located in the center of Roermond. We are a dynamic organization with guests in house 24/7. Theaterhotel de Oranjerie features over 140 luxury rooms, 12 multifunctional halls, a grand café, and a large theater. Het Arresthuis features 40 rooms, 3 multifunctional halls, and a restaurant. A varied and dynamic workplace where we do our utmost to ensure that both you and our guests go home with a big smile.

As an F&B Intern, you will be fully involved in the team. Together with your colleagues, you will do everything possible to give our guests a wonderful experience in one of our restaurants.

If you are following a degree focused on leadership, you will be involved in the tasks and activities of our first employees, supervisors, leaders, and/or managers.
As a Management Intern, you will be the right hand of our Restaurant and Banqueting Manager. Together with them and the F&B Manager, you will lead our enthusiastic team.
You will be responsible for:

• Operational support: Together with your colleagues, you will distribute tasks and monitor the progress and quality of the work;

• Coaching and direction: You provide instructions and coach the team to be their best selves. You are the point of contact on the floor, but also during large events and conferences, where you share responsibility for rosters, recruitment, and overall service;

• Creative improvements: Use your innovative spirit to take the F&B department to new heights, while always prioritizing the guest experience!

• Preparing mise en place;

• Welcoming guests;

• Serving guests;

• You explain the menu including allergens;

• Preparing drinks;

• Serving various products;

• Setup, running, and breakdown of events;

• Preparing and assisting with buffets;

• Working with a POS system.

• You are following a degree in the direction of catering, hospitality, and service;

• You are hospitable;

• You are eager to learn;

• You are flexibly available for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
