TheaterHotel De Oranjerie is the cultural and culinary meeting place of Roermond. Located in the heart of the historic center, you will find our impressive four-star hotel with 146 luxury hotel rooms, 12 multifunctional meeting and conference rooms, an atmospheric Grand Café, a stylish à-la-carte restaurant, and a beautiful theater.
As a Service & Events Staff member, you are the face of our hotel and will fulfill a varied and versatile role.
You will work interchangeably in our restaurants, the theater, and during conferences and events;
You will welcome guests with a smile, take orders, serve dishes and drinks, and provide appropriate advice;
You will assist in the setup, preparation, and breakdown of meeting rooms and events;
You will handle the mise-en-place, such as setting tables, replenishing supplies, and keeping the workspaces tidy;
You will actively contribute to a positive working atmosphere in which hospitality, quality, and teamwork are central.
Depending on the season, more hours are available; from September through May (our theater season) there is generally plenty of work, and from June through August it is quieter.
You are enthusiastic, positive-minded, and a real go-getter;
You are hospitable, approach people easily, and enjoy providing our guests with a fantastic experience;
You enjoy working in a dynamic environment. Experience is a plus, but we find your enthusiasm and commitment much more important;
Even when it suddenly gets busy, you keep a cool head and remain hospitable;
You are flexibly deployable and do not find working evenings, weekends, and on public holidays a problem.
