Front Office Internship

Location: Van der Valk Hotel Zaltbommel - A2
Internship period: from late January 2027 for at least 4 days per week

As a Front Office intern, you are the visiting card of our hotel. You ensure that guests feel welcome from the very first moment and depart with a smile. No two days are the same: one moment you are checking guests in, the next moment you are helping someone with a question about the area or arranging a restaurant reservation.

• Welcoming, checking in, and checking out guests

• Answering telephone calls

• Processing and answering emails

• Taking and processing reservations for hotel rooms and the restaurant

• Providing information about the hotel and the surrounding area

• Handling invoicing for business guests

• Communicating with other departments within the hotel

• Thinking along about how we can surprise our guests even more

You are someone who loves working with people and gets energy from a dynamic environment. Hospitality is in your nature and you enjoy taking responsibility.

Additionally:

• You are following a degree in the direction of Catering, Hospitality, or Front Office

• You are enthusiastic, eager to learn, and motivated

• You enjoy collaborating and helping colleagues where necessary

• You enjoy learning new things and developing yourself

• You dare to take initiative and enjoy going the extra mile for our guests

• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages

• You remain friendly and professional, even when it gets busy

• An educational and varied internship within a friendly team
