What we're looking for

HBO/WO working and thinking level;
at least 2 years of experience in personal injury claims handling;
result- and solution-orientedness;
WFT, Branche M&S, Personenschade Middelzwaar Letsel, or the willingness to obtain these;
excellent knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel;
good command of both the Dutch and English language in speech and writing. command of the German and/or French language is a plus

The role

Due to personal injury, for example a traffic accident or an industrial accident, a victim's life is often turned upside down for a short or longer period of time. Van Ameyde handles the damages of personal injury victims in an innovative manner. As a Personal Injury Claims Handler, you will independently settle personal injury files, whereby you obviously follow the applicable guidelines, procedures, laws (Dutch and foreign law) and case law. You maintain contact with all involved parties playing a role in the personal injury file. Furthermore, your duties consist of:

What you'll do

correctly recording data of the files to be handled in the electronic file;
reporting the progress of the claims settlement process to the client according to agreed work arrangements;
analyzing and assessing all occurring cases for fraud aspects and initiating actions to prevent and combat fraud;
proactively thinking along and providing improvement proposals for the benefit of the department;
sharing knowledge and experience with your colleagues from the Personal Injury department.

You have a passion for the personal injury field and know the ropes when it comes to handling personal injury files. Through your excellent communication skills, you know how to make a contribution to the team. You enjoy letting your less experienced colleagues share in your knowledge and expertise.
