The role
As a Personal Injury Claims Specialist, you are responsible for the substantive and independent handling of personal injury claims within a Liability (AVB) portfolio. You assess the liability of companies and other insured parties, map out the extent and impact of the injury, and ensure a careful and efficient settlement of complex claims.
You work at the intersection of legal assessment, claims handling, negotiation, and relationship management. In doing so, you keep an eye on the interests of both the injured party and the insured and the insurer. For complex files, you work closely with, among others, lawyers, advocates, medical advisors, loss adjusters, and experts.

Assessing liability and coverage based on policy conditions, laws and regulations, and relevant case law.
Analyzing the circumstances and assessing the degree of liability of the insured.
