Service Center Technician

At Trek, everything revolves around innovation, quality, and the best cycling experience. In our European Service Center in Wijchen, we work daily on high-quality bicycles and e-bikes for customers throughout Europe.

Where others primarily see a problem, you see a technical challenge. You investigate malfunctions, perform diagnoses, and ensure that every bicycle functions perfectly again. Mechanical, electronic, or a combination of both. Not standard wrench work, but high-level technical craftsmanship.

Together with a team of experienced specialists, you will work on complex issues and actively contribute to improving our products and service.

No two days are the same within our European Service Center. You work independently on technical cases and serve as an important source of knowledge for colleagues.

Your duties

• Diagnosing, repairing, and testing high-quality bicycles and e-bikes.
• Investigating and resolving complex mechanical and electronic malfunctions.
• Assessing warranty claims and analyzing technical issues.
• Collaborating with Quality, Product, and Engineering teams to implement structural improvements.
• Supporting Customer Care and colleagues with technical expertise, troubleshooting, and training.
• Processing repairs, work orders, claims, and parts administration in various systems, including JDE.
• Monitoring parts inventory and ensuring a safe, clean, and organized workplace.
• Actively contributing to process improvements, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.

This is a role for true technicians. You make the difference precisely with complicated diagnoses, unique technical issues, and innovative e-bike technology.

You don't just want to know *that* something isn't working, but especially *why*. You are analytical, precise, and derive satisfaction from solving technical puzzles.

• You have an MBO level of work and thinking.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a technical role.
• You possess strong technical knowledge of bicycles; experience with e-bikes is a plus.
• You are willing to further develop yourself through training and education.
• You can systematically analyze and solve technical problems.
• You communicate clearly and can explain technical information in an understandable way.
• You work easily with digital systems such as MS Office and ERP systems.
• You have a good command of the English language.
• You remain calm and solution-oriented when a malfunction is not immediately visible.
• You are flexible and curious to learn new tasks and techniques.
