Urology Nurse

• The salary is classified according to scale 45 (FWG 3.0) and amounts to a minimum of € 3.228 and a maximum of € 4.346 per month based on 36 hours per week. In addition, you will receive an 8.33% holiday allowance and an end-of-year bonus of 8.33%.

No two days are the same at the urology outpatient clinic. You will receive patients for their appointments and check-ups and are often the first point of contact. You guide patients during their visit and support the urologist with various examinations, treatments, and minor outpatient procedures.

As a nurse, you make an important contribution to the care of our patients. You prepare patients, provide information and instructions, and support the urologist with diagnostics and treatments. You also ensure good follow-up care and perform various nursing technical procedures, such as catheterization and bladder irrigations. In addition to your nursing tasks, you are also the first point of contact at the reception desk and on the phone, where you help patients with questions about their appointments and their health.

Thanks to your nursing background and clinical eye, you detect abnormalities and changes in patients. You know when you can act independently and when it is important to coordinate with the urologist or a colleague.

The work is varied and requires patient-centeredness, accuracy, and the ability to collaborate well. You work closely with the urologists, nurses, and medical assistants at the outpatient clinic. Together, you ensure that the patient receives the right guidance and care.

It is important that Wednesday and Friday are fixed working days, your base location is Harderwijk, but you are willing to work in Lelystad if necessary.
