What you'll get
A good salary: according to scale 50 (FWG 3.0, CAO Ziekenhuizen), from €3,463 to €4,914 gross per month (based on a 36-hour work week). On top of that, you receive 8.33% holiday allowance and an 8.33% year-end bonus.
Great extras: such as a good pension scheme with PFZW, a discount on your health insurance, company fitness, and an attractive Flexible Benefits Package (MKA).
The role
You provide care before, during, and after surgery - with attention, tranquility, and craftsmanship.
Are you an experienced recovery nurse with a big heart for pre- and postoperative care? And do you enjoy working in a warm, professional environment where collaboration is a given and lines of communication are short? Then you will feel completely at home with us at the OR complex of St Jansdal hospital.
What you'll do
As a recovery nurse, you are indispensable in the care of our patients around their surgery. You monitor vital functions, perform reserved procedures under the instruction of the anesthesiologist, and know what is needed in acute situations, such as complications due to the procedure or the anesthesia. You also assist with epidural pain relief during obstetric care - a special role in which you make a direct difference for the patient.
You are responsible for guiding and reassuring patients in both the holding area and the recovery area. You ensure they feel safe, and you also take the time to properly inform and put parents, companions, or family members at ease.
How you'll work
A dynamic workplace where no two days are the same.
Every year we perform about 14,000 surgeries, spread across almost all specialties within peripheral care. That diversity of procedures ensures that you, as a recovery nurse, are constantly challenged and continue to learn.
These procedures take place in one of our 8 clinical ORs: 6 in Harderwijk and 2 in Lelystad. A well-organized working environment that we are proud of - and where collaboration and mutual involvement are truly palpable. You are deployable to both locations.
What we ask of you
You have successfully completed the training to become a recovery nurse and are BIG-registered.
You are flexibly deployable at both locations (Harderwijk and Lelystad).
You work day and evening shifts in Harderwijk, and day shifts in Lelystad (Monday through Thursday).
Additionally, you can work on-call shifts during weekends and public holidays, with a maximum response time of 45 minutes (these shifts fall outside your contract hours, but are indeed well compensated).
You are open to participating in working groups, such as the VIM committee, green team, etc.
You take initiative and think along to improve our work and are open to innovation.
In short: you are expert, involved, and remain calm under pressure. But above all: you do your work with pleasure, and you seek a place where that is appreciated.
Requirements
A contract that fits you: we initially offer you a one-year contract for a minimum of 18 to 36 hours per week — you decide what is feasible for you. If it suits both sides? Then we would love to convert that into a permanent contract.
A flexible schedule: We work with self-scheduling, which allows you to communicate your working preferences and together create a schedule that fits everyone as well as possible.
Continuing to grow: through the St Jansdal Academy, you work (online) on your personal and professional development. In addition, further supplementary and refresher training is arranged, such as clinical lessons, case discussions, and an annual training day for the entire OR complex. There are also annual mandatory training courses such as BLS and fire safety instruction, and we offer ALS training.
Job satisfaction is a top priority for us: you will join a friendly and close-knit team with a fine mix of young talent and experienced colleagues. The atmosphere is open, involved, and down-to-earth. -- We go all out for our work, but laugh just as hard. In addition to good collaboration, we find making fun important, with optional team outings, dinners, and other social moments.
Become enthusiastic? Feel free to come and experience the atmosphere!
We understand very well that you don't just make a move easily. That is why we cordially invite you to first visit the department. Take a look, meet us, experience the atmosphere — and if you wish, shadow us for a (half) day. This way, you get an honest impression of what it is really like to work with us.
Would you like to make an appointment? Feel free to call or email Klaas Wesseling (team leader) at 0341 – 463 940,
