Solution Architect

• at least 5 years of work experience as a Solution Architect in a complex IT landscape.
• the skills to explain the advantages and disadvantages of a proposed solution to business stakeholders.
• extensive experience with Archimate 3.
• experience with modern architecture concepts such as composable architecture.

• excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• experience with physical access control systems (Security domain) and associated OT technology is a strong plus.
• knowledge of and experience with TOGAF is a plus.
• experience with cloud architecture and cloud environments (Azure) is a plus.

As a Solution Architect from Business Platform Schiphol Operations (BPSO) SA, you are responsible for drafting solution architectures for projects and solutions in, for this role, particularly the Security domain. To this end, you create Architecture Definition Documents and other architecture products. And how you approach this? That is up to you. • analysis and documentation of current and future architecture, particularly within the Security domain in the BPSO Digital & Technology landscape.
• shaping of specific large-scale changes in the Security domain, which are foreseen in passenger control, border control, in the Privium lounges, and in the biometric systems used for staff access control.
• collaboration in project teams and agile teams where, together with other solution and enterprise architects, you provide direction and support in realizing new data-driven solutions.
• inventorying and translating the impact of business needs into functional and technical requirements as a basis for the architecture to be realized.
