Event Management Internship

Are you organized, entrepreneurial, and energized by events? Do you enjoy arranging things, creating overview, and ensuring that everything behind the scenes is correct? Then we have an internship position for you at Priva.

As an Event Coordination Intern, you will work directly with our Event Manager on Priva's event portfolio. So you won't just be doing supportive tasks: you will get an active role in the preparation and execution of various events. From the initial planning to the final materials at the booth.

What will you do?
Together with the Event Manager, you will ensure that events run smoothly. You will maintain an overview, take on tasks independently, and ensure that agreements are met.

Think, for example, of:

• Collaborate on the preparation and planning of events;

• Maintain contact with suppliers and other event partners;

• Support with registrations, invitations, and participant communication;

• Organize and manage event materials and promotional tools;

• Prepare and maintain schedules and run sheets;

• Follow up on quotes and practical arrangements with suppliers;

• Help with the logistical preparation of events;

• Think along about how we can organize our events more smartly and efficiently;

• During the event days themselves, roll up your sleeves and take on responsibilities.

You won't just be sitting behind your laptop, but experiencing how an event actually comes to life. You will work together with the Event Manager, suppliers, colleagues, and other stakeholders and receive increasing amounts of responsibility.

During your internship, you will work towards one of the largest events within Priva: GreenTech Amsterdam in June 2027. An event that involves a lot and where you will be involved from the preparation through to the event days. From planning and supplier contact to materials, logistics, and execution on location: you will literally see the result of your work on the exhibition floor.

After GreenTech 2027, your internship will conclude. A wonderful way to finish your internship period and experience a major event up close.

You:

• is pursuing an MBO, HBO, or similar education in Event Management, Leisure & Events, Marketing, Communication, or Hospitality;

• is looking for a working internship rather than a graduation internship;

• is available from February 2027;

• is organized and loves creating overview;

• has good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both orally and in writing.

• enjoys communicating with different people and suppliers;

• is practical-minded and loves thinking in solutions;

• dares to ask questions, but can also work independently;

• enjoys it when no two days are exactly the same;

• has an interest in business events, trade fairs, and marketing.

Experience with events is a plus, but enthusiasm, initiative, and organizational talent are more important to us.
