Pedagogical Staff Member | BSO Noorderhof Amsterdam

Do you see the hidden talent in every child? With that, you truly make a difference for them! We take the ideas and talents of the children (and yours too!) very seriously here. Your afternoon as a pedagogical staff member (BSO) in Amsterdam is therefore by no means childish.

You will work at a small-scale and atmospheric BSO in Amsterdam, where personal attention is central. At Partou Noorderhof BSO on Louis Couperusstraat, you and a colleague will care for a maximum of 16 children aged 4 to 12 every day. Because of the small group, you will get to know the children and their parents well and truly make a difference as a pedagogical staff member.

Inside, you will find a pleasant place where children craft, play games, do puzzles, read, relax, or do homework. Outside, there is plenty of space to move. On the playground in front of the door, children football, run, and play every day, regardless of the season. The discovery garden also invites everyone to go exploring together.

At this BSO, we work with vertical groups, in which children of different ages meet each other and learn from one another. As a pedagogical staff member, you stimulate independence, social skills, and fun. Sometimes you will pick up children from a nearby school and, together with your colleague, you will ensure a trusted and active childcare environment. It is precisely the small scale, the close cooperation, and the attention to outdoor play that make this an attractive workplace.
