What we're looking for

MBO+ work and thinking level, with a Paro-prevention assistant diploma
Extensive work experience as a dental assistant, preferably with periodontal treatments
Good command of the Dutch language

The role

Are you currently a paro-prevention assistant or a prevention assistant with the ambition to pursue training in paro-prevention? Then this could be a wonderful new step! Because our current paro-prevention assistant will be taking well-deserved maternity leave next year and we are looking to expand, we are searching for a (paro) prevention assistant.

What you'll do

What will you be doing?
At Roer-Mondzorg, you contribute every day to care with time and attention for the patient.

As a paro-prevention assistant, you play a key role in our practice. You work largely independently, yet also work closely with the other practitioners in the practice. The lines are short, making consultation quickly possible.
You treat patients with periodontal (residual) pockets and ensure a thorough paro plan in consultation with the dentist and the patient.
At the chair, you ensure a pleasant, calm atmosphere so that the patient feels at ease.
A combination of your own appointments and assisting at the chair is certainly possible within our practice if you are looking for this variety.

About Roer-Mondzorg
Roer-Mondzorg in Herten has been a household name in Roermond and the surrounding area for years: a contemporary practice for the whole family, from milk teeth to crowns. Together with Tandartsenpraktijk Postertholt in Posterholt, we combine years of experience with the latest techniques. In addition to general dentistry and oral hygiene, we offer, among other things, implantology, prosthetics, aesthetics, and orthodontics. With an in-house digital laboratory, we often place crowns, bridges, and facings within a single day.

Our patient population is growing rapidly: from referral patients for specialist care to new residents in the region. The team is young, experienced, and strongly focused on development. You will work together with dentists, an implantologist, dental hygienists, paro- and prevention assistants, receptionists, and lab colleagues. With us, clinical consultation, training, and innovation are central.
