The role

What will you do?

At Tandheelkundig Centrum Kerkelanden, you contribute every day to good, personal care for our patients. You:

Assist the dentist during treatments and prepare the treatment room
Provide patients with standard information regarding oral care
Perform simple dental procedures under supervision
Work according to our fixed hygiene and sterilization protocol
Process administrative data in the patient file

Requirements

An eager-to-learn, enthusiastic attitude
Good command of the Dutch language
A hepatitis B titer is a plus

About the company & team

In our center on the Kerkelandenlaan in Hilversum, good care for every patient is central. We work with a personal approach, because a healthy set of teeth should last a lifetime. Our team consists of general dentists, dentists with an extra specialization (including root canal treatments, aesthetic dentistry, implants, and digitally made crowns and bridges), a dental hygienist, and prevention assistants. This allows patients to come to us for many treatments.

We work with task delegation: every patient is helped by the healthcare provider who can best perform that treatment. You will therefore see up close how different roles work together. That is useful if you want to grow further later on, for example towards prevention assistant.

We find clear communication important. We discuss every treatment with the patient first: what needs to happen, how long it takes, and what it costs. We work with modern techniques and materials. We do not use amalgam and work completely metal-free. Our team is accustomed to children and adolescents and takes the time for patients' questions and concerns. We give that same attention to new colleagues.

The practice is easily accessible by car (free parking) and public transport. Tandheelkundig Centrum Kerkelanden is affiliated with Oral Care Nederland, a national network of dental practices that combines local identity with more than 35 years of international dental experience.
