Director Heat Transition

Do you have in-depth knowledge of the heat market AND proven experience in strategic advisory and stakeholder management at executive level? Then we are looking for you.

We are looking for an experienced professional who knows the heat market and transition well, is steady in complex environments, and enjoys helping to build a practice. You recognize yourself in the following:

• You have approximately 10+ years of experience in strategic consultancy, advisory, program management, or transformation

• You have demonstrable experience within the heat market

• You understand how the heat market works both substantively, administratively, and organizationally

• You have experience with complex stakeholder fields and decision-making in public, private, or public-private arenas

• You have a broad and relevant network in the heat domain and feel comfortable in the role of relationship development and business development

• You are strong on substance, calm in positioning, and sharp in choices

• You are entrepreneurial, responsible, and focused on collaboration

• You enjoy not only working on assignments but also actively contributing to the growth of a practice

• You speak Dutch

As Director Heat Transition, you are responsible for the expansion and positioning of nlmtd's heat practice. You combine substantive knowledge and experience of the heat market with strategic advice, entrepreneurship, and strong stakeholder management.

You guide strategic trajectories for clients, operate as a partner at board and executive level, and take ownership of relationships, propositions, and growth. You work within the entrepreneurial model of nlmtd, in which seniority and responsibility go hand in hand.

• You help to further expand and more sharply position nlmtd's heat practice in the market

• You lead strategic and organizational trajectories within the heat transition, from analysis and design to decision-making and initial implementation steps.

• You assist clients with governance, collaboration, and organizational design (direction, roles, responsibilities, steering).

• You move firmly in complex stakeholder fields and guide decision-making involving public and private interests.

• You develop and sharpen propositions and perspectives on the heat market and communicate these (internally and externally).

• You actively build client relationships and new business in line with the nlmtd model of (co-)entrepreneurship.

• You coach colleagues and contribute to building a strong team and a mature practice.

• A substantively and strategically relevant role in a major societal transition

• Through the nlmtd fund, you as a consultant can deploy your expertise for organizations with great societal impact that are normally out of reach due to budget constraints. By voluntarily contributing 1% of your rate, you help make this possible.
