What we're looking for

  • A relevant master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar field.
  • 3–6 years of relevant work experience in accounting, financial reporting, management reporting, controlling, or a similar field, in a senior, team lead, or similar position.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS and experience with financial compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Strong analytical and business problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial information into relevant insights for the organization.
  • Experience with budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and management reporting.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to independently identify opportunities, take initiative, and implement improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a structured and reliable approach to delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with different parts of the organization.
  • A strong focus on quality and an eye for detail.
  • A sincere interest in both developing people and achieving strong financial results yourself.

  • Depending on your experience, a gross monthly salary between € 6,000 and € 7,000 based on full-time employment.

The role

What you'll do

As Head of Finance at Netcompany Netherlands, you will oversee the entire local finance function, from annual accounts, IFRS, taxes, and VAT to management reporting, commercial finance, and KPI forecasting.

We are ambitious in the way we develop our Finance organization and actively embrace new technology and ways of working. In particular, Netcompany invests significantly in the use of AI tools to improve financial processes, reporting, analysis, and decision-making. As Head of Finance, you will play an important role in supporting and driving this development. You will help translate new technology into practical added value for the Dutch organization and the Finance organization.

  • You will take ultimate responsibility for Finance Netherlands, including financial reporting, annual accounts, IFRS, taxes and VAT, management reporting, commercial finance, and KPI forecasting.
  • You will act as a trusted financial sparring partner for the Dutch leadership team and support both daily decision-making and the realization of the organization's long-term ambitions.
  • You will translate the frameworks, standards, and ambitions of Group Finance into the Dutch context and ensure effective implementation within the organization.
  • You will lead, coach, and develop the Finance NL and Office NL teams and create a culture in which quality, ownership, collaboration, and continuous development are central.
  • You will provide clear and substantive financial analyses to support business performance, planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • You will be responsible for the quality and accuracy of financial reports and ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards, policies, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  • You will manage the annual planning, forecasting, and KPI processes and provide management with clear insight into the organization's performance and future developments.
  • You will work closely with the business on commercial and business-related analyses and identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • You will work closely with Group Finance and fellow Heads of Finance to share knowledge, solve challenges, and promote consistency within the organization.
  • As a member of the Netcompany NL Shared Service Management Team, you will contribute to the further development of the organization, build strong relationships with internal service functions, and promote effective collaboration between different disciplines.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and ways of working and take responsibility for the implementation of these improvements.
  • You will build strong collaboration within the Benelux Finance organization. You will be expected to travel to Belgium and Luxembourg occasionally to strengthen cooperation, share best practices, and promote consistency within the various Benelux Finance teams.
