The role

Are you crazy about food and interested in marketing, retail, and consumer behavior? At Nestlé Food, you will get the chance to help build the success of two iconic brands: MAGGI and THOMY. During this internship, you will learn everything about shopper marketing and category management within the dynamic FMCG landscape - from data to activation.

Nestlé is the world's largest food company with one clear goal: to make people's lives healthier and better. Good food, good life. With brands such as MAGGI, Garden Gourmet, KitKat, and NESCAFÉ, we are committed to sustainability, health, and innovation worldwide. Working with us means contributing to a better future; on the table and beyond.

What you'll do

As of February 1, 2027, we are looking for an intern to join our team! You will become part of the Category Development Team and help grow the market share of MAGGI and THOMY mayonnaise. You will dive into target group and trend analyses and translate insights into concrete (shopper) activation plans that you will be able to execute yourself.

Your duties include

  • Analyzing data (such as Nielsen) for shopper, category, and retail insights;
  • Developing and executing creative promotional campaigns;
  • Helping to build the development of our brands, including support for PR events;
  • Developing POS material (shelf communication, displays) in collaboration with agencies;
  • Setting up in-store activations, such as tasting and cooking demonstrations;
  • Supporting the improvement of our brands' online visibility with retailers;
  • Collaborating on daily projects within the Food Category Development Team.

You will receive a lot of responsibility, work together with various departments, and learn how to turn insights into action at major retailers such as Albert Heijn and Jumbo.

Who are you?

You adapt easily to new situations and know how to translate data into commercial opportunities. You take initiative as soon as you see possibilities and enjoy working independently. You are curious, driven, and analytically strong - and you combine a passion for food with a commercial mindset.
