Requirements
What we're looking for
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a university-level thinking ability and at least 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the construction or real estate sector. You are an expert in risk management, financial processes, and system optimization. Additionally, you are proactive, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working together with different disciplines to achieve set goals. As a team player, you derive energy from achieving success together.
The role
As a Senior Business Controller, you will work at our beautiful office at the Schiehaven in Rotterdam. In this crucial role within the Finance team, you will report directly to the Financial Director and functionally to the management. You will ensure that our various Development Companies receive the correct management information, with a focus on an expected annual turnover of 300 million euros. Additionally, you will be the driving force behind the further professionalization and automation of our financial processes.
What you'll do
You will play a key role in advising management and the business on financial-economic matters and project control. In doing so, you will lead the Finance team and be responsible for the planning and control cycle, monitoring budgets, and liquidity planning.
