Sometimes you'll be behind the cash register with a big smile, and sometimes you'll make a customer incredibly happy by telling them where the vegetarian mince is located. And do you want just a bit more responsibility? That's possible in the fruit and vegetable department or the bakery. Nice!

The most important thing is that you are a go-getter. Something needs to be done? BAM, you're already there! And have you never worked in a supermarket before? No problem, everything will be explained to you in advance. What else is important:

- You are 15 years or older*

* Are you 15 years old? Then you will have an adapted set of tasks. During your induction, you will learn everything you need to know for a top start. From age 16, you will be deployed all-round with us. 

A part-time job that isn't boring. Those colleagues you work with? They could just as easily become your friends. And you can indicate yourself how much you want to work. A bit less next month? That's fine. Working more hours during your holidays? No problem! We pay you for every minute you work. In addition, we do many fun things outside of work, such as team outings and the annual Lidl football tournament.

Your salary as an assistant
How much you are going to earn depends on your age and the number of hours you work. Below you can see what your hourly wage is.

• •    15 years:     € 6.06 per hour.  
  •    16 years:     € 6.98 per hour. 
  •    17 years:     € 7.99 per hour. 
  •    18 years:     € 9.73 per hour. 
  •    19 years:     € 11.66 per hour. 
  •    20 years:     € 15.55 per hour. 
  •    21+ years:   € 19.44 per hour.
