The role

Do you want to know everything about our products and do you have a strong affinity with food, labelling and  product specifications? Are you accurate and are you good at coordinating? Then we might be looking for you!

At our head office in Huizen, the Labelling & translation team within the Purchasing department ensures that all information on our products is accurate and legally correct and meets our Lidl guidelines. As a specialist labelling & translation, you are responsible for the legal verification of product compositions, drafting legal information for packaging, and for the process that ensures this is actually placed on our packaging. The result of your  work can be seen directly in the store!

You will be working in an enthusiastic and driven team where you will work closely with various departments within the Purchasing department. We offer an interesting position where you get the chance to work with products from diverse product categories and have a lot of contact with colleagues and suppliers. You will be working with many different products simultaneously, which offers a lot of variety in different legislation. With your affinity for food, legislation, and product specifications, you will be a welcome addition to our team. We look forward to your application!

What you'll do

In the role of specialist labelling and translation, you guarantee that our customers are fully informed about the content and composition of our products. You provide our packaging with the correct  product information, coordinate with suppliers, and test labels and packaging against applicable laws and regulations and Lidl guidelines. Think of the correct product name, the full list of ingredients, applying claims, and preventing deception. You find it a beautiful challenge to dive into laws and regulations and to provide our labels with the correct product information. Together with colleagues, you ensure that the (new) product is in the stores on time. You also have regular contact with our colleagues abroad. Naturally, you think proactively to get a great product into the store.

Who are you?

To be successful in this position, you possess a great sense of responsibility. You are proactive and critical when it comes to quality. You work easily independently and love to work accurately. Moreover, you are a strong communicator, can be persuasive when necessary, and keep your head cool when the workload increases. You love the dynamics of retail. Furthermore, we ask for the following:

  • You would like to deepen your knowledge within the role by making use of the existing knowledge within Lidl. We consider taking initiative to be a matter of course.

What do you get from us?

An interesting and challenging position within an enthusiastic, driven, and sociable team that works together to ensure our products meet our high standards and those of our customers. A job in which you can show what you are capable of and can directly contribute to safeguarding the highest quality.
