Process Operator (5-shift rotation)

You have completed an MBO education in a relevant field, such as process technology (Vapro B) or food technology level 4. You have at least 1 to 3 years of experience in a comparable role within the process industry, and preferably have experience with spray drying. You have strong analytical skills and an eye for detail. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You possess a VCA-VOL diploma and have experience with the TPM methodology.

In this position, you are co-responsible for the output of the production process within the shift, with the aim of achieving efficient production of inulin powders of the desired quality and quantity.

• You set up the processes based on production guidelines and operate the entire installation.

• You monitor and inspect production equipment and the process flow to ensure uninterrupted process progress. In doing so, you take the quality and quantity of the product into account.

• You adhere to specific process and product specifications and take other (sub) processes into account.

• You identify deviations in equipment and product and report these to the team leader. 

• You perform analyses independently and interpret these results.

• You make adjustments based on established production guidelines and/or standards.

• You check settings and adjustments on installations and check the product using checklists.

• You analyze and resolve minor malfunctions and support the maintenance service with malfunctions and repairs. In some cases, you perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

• In some cases, you provide instructions to third parties within the shift. 

• You register relevant data from the process operations in the systems.
