What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Cloud Management.
- Experience with Ansible scripting (Playbooks).
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Gitlab, Python, Terraform, and RESTAPI).
- Experience with virtualization and orchestration (e.g., Nutanix Cloud Clustering / Morpheus or comparable e.g., AWS / Azure).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security principles.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience in a cloud environment.
Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience within enterprise environments.
Nice to have
- Demonstrable work experience with programming as Infrastructure-as-a-code.

The role
What you'll do
In this role, you are responsible for the design, configuration & management, and further development of the Cloud Orchestrator (HPE Morpheus Enterprise S/W) and the Morpheus IT Infra requirements. The focus here lies on cloud technologies, but several functional areas are also involved, such as Networking, Storage, Back-up & Recovery, as well as the Operating System RHEL, programming towards Infrastructure as Code with Configuration as Code, Terraform, and Virtualization based on Nutanix.
You will work closely with other management and development teams such as Networking, Nutanix Virtualisation, Operating Systems, DNS-DHCP-IP Mgmt, Active Directory Services, ServiceNow (ITSM), and Ansible Automation Platform to ensure that Morpheus Cloud Orchestrator operates optimally and that consumable cloud services such as VMs, Container Infra, Networking, and Storage Services are provisioned automatically, securely, reliably, and with optimal performance.
How you'll work
The Orchestration team will eventually work from the locations Maasland, Soesterberg, Hoofddorp, and Den Helder. Since the department is still in a build-up phase, not all locations will be fully staffed. We offer flexible working, where we expect you to be at a work location approximately 2 days per week on average to collaborate with the team.
Important to know: to be allowed to work for our client, you must possess Dutch nationality, a Dutch passport, and you must also be able to speak and write Dutch.
Additionally, a VGB-B (Declaration of No Objection level B) is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Design, configuration & management, and further development of the Cloud Orchestrator (HPE Morpheus Enterprise S/W) and the Morpheus IT Infra requirements.
- Programming towards and managing Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code for the purpose of the automated production of Morpheus instances and configurations.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems with Morpheus and integrations with IT Infra requirements.
- Ensuring security implementation (Techspecs/CIS/STIG) and compliance with best practices for Cloud Orchestration.
- Executing and maintaining Test and Acceptance Management.
- Documenting and maintaining configurations (Configuration File, Management File, Security File) and procedures.
