Do you want to take charge of customer relationships within the dynamic world of ocean freight? As a Customer Care Specialist Import Sea Logistics in Rotterdam, you will manage your own customer portfolio and connect customers, operations, and other internal departments. You will coordinate commercial activities, customer communication, daily planning, and administrative processes. In doing so, you will be the fixed point of contact for your customers and ensure reliable service from inquiry to follow-up.

• Manage daily customer interactions and build long-term relationships.
• Act as the point of contact for your customers and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
• Work proactively with internal teams to meet customer needs.
• Coordinate documentation processes and work together with the Operational Care Centre for timely and accurate follow-up.
• Guide the onboarding of new customers in collaboration with sales and operations.
• Provide proactive advice and support with a solution-oriented and service-oriented approach.
• Monitor customer KPIs and internal data, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Ensure efficient and accurate administrative handling and reporting.

• Relevant work experience with ocean freight import and/or customer service.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Independent and detail-oriented, but also a true team player.
• Customer-oriented attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic working environment.
• Excellent command of English and Dutch is a must, both spoken and written.
• Availability for a full-time position (40 hours per week).

You will start with a one-year contract with a view to permanent employment.
